Here is "Figuring it out" with a blue background. I like it better. The face pops out from the background, compared with the earlier version.

You will see postings of my current and past work on this blog. I once did daily paintings to refine my skills for larger paintings. Beginning in Oct. , 2008 I attended the Jeff Hein Academy in Salt Lake City to refine my basic skills in drawing, value, and painting. After learning a lot, I left the academy in 2011. I returned to the academy for three months in 2015 to focus on portraiture. I am now back to doing original work in my studio. Thanks for visiting!
