I love these kitschy little sit-arounds that seem to come from another era. They seem so simple and honest.

This was a tough one to do in one afternoon, because of the juxtaposition of such dark darks and such light lights - all in very wet paint. This a beautiful dark little ceramic pot. Even in person, it's hard to tell if it's black, or red-black, or brownish-black. Very soulful.
